Do I need to Sign Any Contract or Bonds to use ActivityRockets?
No, you don’t. Activity Rockets is a highly flexible tool for you to use. You teach at your convenient time. You do not have to sign any contract or bond with us.
What is my earning potential?
It depends on many factors. For example, the number of classes you take, your engagement level, enrollments, your feedback from parents/kids, and many others. There is no set rule that fits all. It is subject to discussion.
How Does an Activity Rockets Teacher Acquire Students?
As an Activity Rockets teacher, you will acquire students through two different channels: via digital advertising campaigns run by the Activity Rockets marketing team, and by collaborating with organizations (with our support). Through these channels, a new teacher typically starts with 2–3 students in the first couple of months, which may eventually increase to 6–10 students in 6 months and 10–15 students over the course of a year.
Can I move my existing offline students online?
Absolutely. Create your webpage, publish your course and ask your students to enroll. We take care of payments and all remittances are made to your account the next working day. You also get discount Codes for existing students so that they can be moved to classes.
How does ActivityRockets Earn?
We earn only when our teachers earn. For every paid courses hosted by you, Activityrockets will collect 10% service fee from enrollments on our platform. No other hidden fees, ever. Teachers have full control over their listed prices. We only earn when our teachers earn.
How long does it take to create a Courses / Workshops on ActivityRockets?
Typically, it takes between 2 to 5 minutes to create any Courses/Workshops.

Can I Host Free Courses on ActivityRockets?
Yes, you can host as many free lessons and meetings as you want. We will not charge any fee from you.
How do I get learners to sign up for the class?
Don’t be shy about plugging your class. Use social networks, talk about your class whenever you get a chance. Reach out to our marketing team for the creative flyers. Be sure to promote your class from the day it is posted all the way until the cut-off date for sign-ups.
I don’t know what my students will know when they attend my First session.
If it is necessary that your students know certain information or skills for your class, clearly state this in your class description and requirements section. With that said, the best way to find out what they know is to ask them during the Demo class. A great way to learn this information is to have everyone tell the class their name and experience level at the beginning of class. With this info, you will know who to give more attention to, and the students will have an idea of how fast the class will go based on where everyone else is
How do Teachers get Paid on ActivtyRockets?
It’s free to list classes on ActivityRockets for Teachers. There are no subscription or hidden charges. You receive payment after the Course is completed after deducting our platform fees, Taxes, Bank charges.
I’m not tech-savvy, can someone help me?
We have built ActivityRockets platform to be easy to use for everyone and you can get your booking page up and running in less than 5 mins. Can you add a new batch to your existing course or to a published course?
Yes, you can. To add a new batch, go to Courses My Courses, Under Mycourses tab on the right-hand side click on the three vertical dots, after you click on Edit Course, navigate to Batch Section screen , Add a new batch and select a time and date according to the new batch and click on Save and submit it for review.
Where do I find my courses Created?
Login to your ActivityRockets account Click on "Courses --> MyCourses located at Side panel of the page. And there you would see your courses
How will ActivityRockets Platform help me?
We will provide a dashboard to create, monitor and run your courses / workshops. We will provide access to a free zoom license to conduct group classes ( Min 5 students ) , this feature is integrated right into the platform. Automatic Reminders & Alerts will be sent to the instructor and students prior to a class. We will help teachers manage all the payment collection from students. Gamification Tools are integrated within the Teachers dashboard to make your courses and workshops more engaging. Everytime there is new workshop or course created by you, We will create posters for it and run sponosered ads and post it on our social media pages. We have given all our instructors an option of creating a promo video about your course and workshop. So that your students can know you before they have spoken to you and know better about this course Additionally, our platform allows: Batch creation, Content-sharing, Multiple batches creation, Calendar integration, among other things.
Can ActivityRockets disqualify me as a Educator?
Educators need to ensure the information provided by them is correct and not falsified. Educators should take care to display professional behaviour and not receive any complaints of abusive behaviour. Educatorss should not attemp to solicit Students out of Activity Rockets. Any Educators who, in Activity Rockets's opinion, fails to comply with these terms and conditions may be immediately barred from using the Website and related services. Activity Rockets reserves the right to cancel any existing Bookings at any time in such circumstances.

Are ActivityRockets Sessions Live or Pre-Recorded?
Each session is conducted live by our expert facilitators.We believe Learning is best when it's a two-way communication between the student and the teacher.
Can my Courses have multiple sessions?
Yes. Your Courses can be a single session or can have multiple sessions. You can schedule your Course batches at a flexible time based on your convenience
How can a learner attend a session on ActivityRockets?
To sign up for a free trial, please visit the course of your choice and follow the Instructions to book a free trial today. Once booked, the session will be listed under ‘Upcoming Sessions’ on your profile and your child can join the session by clicking that link. The session link will also be sent out to your registered email. If you have tried the course or heard good reviews and want to Enroll your child, you can buy a course directly without booking a trial. Just visit the course your child is interested in, check the requirements, and click on ‘Enroll in this course’ to complete your purchase.
When Will I receive information about upcoming sessions in the course?
Details of upcoming sessions and reminders for the sessions will be sent to you well ahead of time to allow your child to be ready each time before the class! You may also access the upcoming sessions from your profile Dashboard.
What is the duration of each session?
A session runs for approximately 45-60 minutes depending on the skill which you are associated with us.
Will it be possible to do the class on a smartphone?
We recommend using a desktop screen or a laptop. However, if unavailable the child can use a smartphone or a tablet.
Do classes take place on another platform?
We have integrated Zoom Meeting within our platform.
What is the protocol for missed sessions or leaves?
To ensure that each child understands their courses and learns in a progressive manner, we are extremely watchful about their missed classes. Therefore, in case of absenteeism, we recommend the parent/student to reach out to us via whatsapp +91 9113592297 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. In case of pre-decided leaves, please inform us in advance via the Chat with us option or email at email@example.com.
What are key differences between recorded classes vs live classes?
In a live online class, the instructor and students meet on Zoom or another interactive system and can see each other. Students are able to ask questions and can follow along in the class. A live class meets at a specific time, so it's important to note the time zone of the class. Recorded online courses may be found on YouTube or other websites and can be watched at any time
Does ActivityRockets Send email Or Whatsapp notifications?
When a session is booked both the Instructor and the learner receive both an email and whatsapp notification. The email contains the information about the session, a unique link to join the session.
Is there a dashboard to keep track of my Learners and Sessions?
In addition to sending you email notifications for each session, ActivityRockets offers a dashboard with all your future and past sessions. There you can see all your Courses, Workshops and list of students who have enrolled for your sessions. You can also join your upcoming class sessions directly from your dashboard without the need to open email notifications.

Is my kid’s profile public or private?
Every profile on ActivityRockets is private. However, a profile may be featured on progress reports and success stories with the parents’ consent.
How are Activityrockets Live Sessions Conducted?
ActivityRockets classes are powered by the ActivityRockets.com website and by a video conferencing platform called Zoom. It is a safe environment as we are strictly following all Zoom Security guidelines and the Advisory issued by the Cyber Coordination Centre, Govt. Of India such as changing meeting ids, issuing passwords, locking the meeting rooms, enabling waiting rooms, etc. All Zoom meetings on ActivityRockets are password protected to ensure only teachers and students can access them. Additionally, our meetings are customized to give control to teachers (not students) over who enters the classroom, as well as basic functions like screen sharing and audio/video, which allows teachers to take swift action in the event of a problem arising in class
What are the technical requirements to attend the sessions? (Internet speed, browser, device)
To attend the sessions/ classes, you need to have a mobile phone/ computer device with working internet connection. The device should be able to load the ActivityRockets website and the internet speed should be fast enough to support online video streaming.
What are the recommended teaching accessories?

How do I get paid for Classes?
While creating their profiles, Educators should update their account details in order to receive their fees for the Course Fees conducted through ActivityRockets.
When and how are payments made?
We release full payments for a particular course within 7-10 days of the first class. Payments are made via PayPal or bank transfer. Trainers can view all their payment status and invoices on their dashboards.

How can i attend a trial session on ActivityRockets?
To sign up for a free trial, please visit the course of your choice and follow the instructions to book a free trial today. What happens if I sign up for a free session and cannot attend it?
If you are unable to attend your free session due to an unavoidable circumstance, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to help you book another session.
Do parents need to be around to help out during sessions?
ActivityRockets sessions have been designed so that learners can independently attend the same. If a specific session requires parental assistance, you will be informed in advance.
How do I register with ActivityRockets?

Can I speak to my child’s instructor?

We are not able to find friends who are interested in this particular extra curricular activity but want to enroll in this activity. What can I do?
Our recommendation is to enroll your child along with their friends. In case you are not able to find anyone to join your child. How and when will I receive information about my kid’s classes?
You will get a confirmation on the booked course as soon as the payment is made from your end. After this, we’ll send you the notifications and alerts before the session starts in. You can also access our Learner / Student friendly dashboard, it will have all the course information, materials uploaded by the teacher and class schedule.
Do I need to pay the course fee in advance to ActivityRockets ?
ActivityRockets takes the entire course tuition fee in advance. We are not responsible for any direct payment to the teacher, as that could lead to potential deceit and we do not take any liability for such payments. In the same spirit, we request all transactions to happen through the ActivityRockets website!
Do you verify the teachers on ActivityRockets?
At ActivityRockets we are committed to helping you with the best tutor for your desired course To ensure this, we onboard all our tutors after having a thorough background check. We onboard them only if they have a past experience or a certification of teaching the course.
What is the Student and Instructor code of conduct?
1. Camera needs to be switched on for all classes 2. Students should ensure joining the class 5 minutes from the start time of the class 3. Guardians are requested to restrict their queries to the end of the session or can reach out to ActivityRockets support team. 4. Parents are strictly prohibited to exchange any sort of contact details with the teacher.Activity Rockets messaging platform would ensure a seamless communication between teacher and student via student dashboard.
How can any learner benefit from this?
Activity Rockets allows learner to choose from a variety of classes based on their interests. In addition to studying, gamification elements are integrated in the course, which will motivate them to keep learning.
1. Is it possible to create multiple Live Sessions?
Yes, you can create multiple sessions under Create Sessions page. Be careful not to schedule Zoom meetings/Webinars at the same time with the same account.
3. What are the Steps to link my Instructor Account to Zoom API ?
Goto Instructors Profile Page. Click on Connect to Zoom . Choose whether you wish to Enable Instructors to connect their own Zoom accounts. This will take you to the Zoom Sign-in form to log in with your credentials.When you sign in with your Zoom account details, you will be asked to Authorize the “ActivityRockets” application.You are ready to start creating Zoom Meetings and Workshops within your ActivityRockets courses and share them with your students.

What is a Course/Workshops?
Courses / Workshops taught by educators, in which you learn what the educator teaches in live sessions.
What is different between Course, Batch & Session?
Courses in which you teach the students. ● Batch means scheduling the same course at different times. Choose the time that is most convenient for you. ● A Course that is divided into multiple parts is called a session.
How do I list my first Course?
Login to your educator dashboard, go to Courses > Create Course. Add details of your Course that will help students and their parents to understand your Course thoroughly.
What is the payment method?
You would have to add details of your bank account and then you will get your income in your bank account.
How will students enroll in my Course?
Children and parents both can explore Course. Once they find your Course interesting for the child they will enroll in your Course. They will select the suitable batch for them (if any) and complete the payment process. Make sure you keep your Course information interesting and easy to understand.
Can I design Course from my mobile?
We recommend that you design your courses from either a computer or tablet, as it will be easier for you.
Where can I see my dashboard?
Log in to your educator’s account and you will be directed to your Educator’s Dashboard.
Where can I see all of my Course?
You can see all your Course in My Course.
What is ‘Draft Course’?
Course that you have completed but not yet published are called draft Course.
What is Published Course?
The Course whose batches are live on Activity Rockets, where students and parents can see and enroll in them.
What is Paused Course?
Paused Course are the Course which were are no longer active.
What is Rejected Course?
Rejected Course are the Course which are not published on the platform due to some missing information.
What if my Course timings clash?
If you have created one Course and you are planning to create another Course, you won’t be able to create the Course if the time of the Course is the same as any of your previously scheduled Course.

You would have to add details of your bank account and then you will get your income in your bank account.
